As part of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council's Big Spring Clean, the pupils at
All Saints Primary School have been doing their bit for our environment.

Our School has been named the Big Spring Clean Champions for the second consecutive year, after collecting an impressive 42 bags of rubbish. This is second only to the 44 bags of rubbish collected last year by Year 5 and 6. This year the school grounds and the surrounding Churchfields Copse were cleared by Year 5 and 6, with help from the Sandwell Litter Wardens.

For being the 2008 Big Spring Clean Winners, we have received two benches constructed from recycled materials donated by Conder Structures.

The aims of the Big Clean campaign is to help promote a clean and tidy environment, and to help clean up the local area and involve the local community and schools. While also increasing connections with the surrounding community.

Well Done to Year 5 and Year 6 for their efforts, hopefully next year All Saints will be celebrating a Hatrick of Big Spring Clean Titles!
