Computing at All Saints Primary School

At All Saints Primary School, Computing is taught through the implementation of a scheme called Purple Mash; an online teaching and learning platform. Purple Mash provides the tools that allow teachers to deliver unique and create lessons linked to not only the Computing strands of the curriculum, but it also offers activities and resources for all other areas of the curriculum, from Art to Science and everything in between. Learners have their own, personalised learning space that can be accessed at school and at home. Purple Mash provides a safe learning space that does not require downloading or online interaction with anyone other than school staff and peers.

As well as through the use of Purple Mash, children of All Saints Primary School also use computing technologies for other areas of the curriculum. We have a range of engaging and exciting apps installed on iPads to enable children to further develop skills and understanding through the use of technology.
