Plas Gwynant – Day 1
After a very long coach ride (3 hours), passing through such lovely scenic routes we all arrived safely. We were soon tucking into our lunch, unpacking our bags and completing the dreaded task of making our beds.
The grounds are fantastic with lots off different things to see and explore. The instructors are great and we each completed different challenges this afternoon: climbing to the top of ‘Eagle Rock’, team building exercises and scavenger hunting.
Dinner was fantastic, with jacket potatoes and a variety of fillings including baked beans, bolognese, tuna, coldslaw and salad. Completed with rice pudding for dessert. After this, we finished sorting our rooms and began our evening activity of picture orienteering, which was made both a bit harder, but way funnier in the dark. We finished the evening with a hot chocolate, a quick shower and some time to reflect on the day and read.
We have all had a fantastic day and can’t wait for tomorrow!
Bye for now 🙂
