Home Learning
Regular reading at home is vitally important. We encourage all parents to read as often as possible with their child at home. All children will have a library book which can be shared together. Children in EYFS and KS1 will also have a levelled phonics books to read at home. We ask that parents log home reading on Boom Reader.
Children in Yrs1-6 also have access to Timestable Rockstars (TTRS). The app for this can be downloaded from the app store on your device and logins are provided by school. We encourage a little and often approach with TTRS, a few minutes practise each day will be excellent practise towards quick recall multiplication facts.
Children in KS2 also have weekly MyMaths homework to complete. This is set by the teacher and links closely to the concepts that are currently be practised in Maths in school.
