Other Info: Children know they can talk to trusted adults in school about any concerns about wellbeing. They have calm down time at the end of each PSHRE lesson to build on their mindfulness.
Mental Wellbeing teaching at All Saints C of E Primary School
We teach about mental wellbeing by:
- Teaching mindfulness
- Following an adapted mental health scheme of work tailored specifically to our children called ‘Healthy Me’
- Putting an importance on a healthy mind as well as a healthy body
- Teaching PSHRE every week in school
- Holding Mental Health weeks in school
We support mental wellbeing by:
- Modelling a healthy lifestyle
- Showing the children we listen and care
- Ensure concerns are addressed promptly
- Taking part in Mental Health marketplace events
