Personal Development

Our vision for personal development at All Saints is that:

  • Physical and mental well-being matter as much as academic achievements and are prioritized accordingly
  • All children have opportunities throughout their time at All Saints to have rich and varied experiences which prepares them for the next phase of education
  • All children develop their ‘cultural capital’ while at All Saints, giving them qualities they need to flourish in society
  • Our children see themselves reflected in our curriculum through the people and places that are selected for study
  • All children are aware of the range of careers available to them and know how work towards achieving their aspirations
  • All Saints promotes an inclusive environment and equality of opportunity to develop children into responsible,  respectful and active citizens
  • Our families are involved as much possible and are given the tools and confidence that they need to support all areas of their child’s personal development

The document below outlines how we put this vision into practise:

"Promoting pupils’ personal development is a real strength of the school. The wider curriculum has been carefully thought out to develop the values and aspirations of the school. Pupils have a clear understanding of fundamental British values and are well prepared for life in modern Britain. There are many opportunities for pupils to take on positions of responsibility. This includes being personal and spiritual ambassadors, school librarians, sports leaders and members of the student support team." OfSTED Report, June 24
