Frank Chapman- Day 4
For our final full day at Frank Chapman, we got stuck in and enjoyed every second!
In the dinner hall, cereal and toast awaited us. After announcing the winning table, we headed to the boot room to get ready for the day ahead.
Across the day, we worked within our teams to learn new skills and complete the activities:
Bush Craft: we worked in teams of 4 to build a shelter and explore different techniques to build a camp fire.
Archery: in groups of 3, we learnt how to place the arrow into the hold and create the correct stance to shoot the arrow holding the bow.
Farm: in two teams, we walked to the farm and visited Stu (the owner) and his working farm animals. We got to see lots of animals and learnt all about `a life in the day of a farmer`.
Earth Art: in small groups, we went on a scavenger hunt and used the natural materials to create a piece of forest art work.
We ended a very muddy yet fun day with a warm shower, hot chocolate and biscuits. We have had a fantastic time but we can’t wait to get home and tell you all about it!
See you very soon!
